Easton Mako Beast 2-3/4" Big Barrel USSSA Bat -10oz (2017)
MAD MAX says:
It is really funny how things turn around. The past five years at least, maybe longer, we have heard from everybody that 2-3/4 is getting more popular and more people will start using them because it's bigger, better and high-performing. We are starting to see this takeover come true. It is not fully there, but man this last year 2-3/4 is starting to get noticed. The 2-3/4 bat is the biggest barrel on the market. They are usually -12, -11 and -10. The weight is usually very distributed, and kids usually hit balls to the moon! So right now I'm sure you are asking, "Well, why wouldn't I want this bat?" You do! The only issue is to check and see what restrictions your league requires. For years it was a bat only allowed in Georgia, Florida, Texas and California (year-round baseball). If you play for a club team and are traveling to tournaments, then most likely this is a bat in your wheelhouse.
